Capture the magic today!

a-drop.gif (1051 bytes)t the turn of the century, in New York’s Central Park, elegant young women met their suitors and friends for moonlit ice-skating interludes.  As the blades of their skates cut the ice, the wind danced in the thick curls of these women's coiffure, rippling their thick velvet and rosebud-trimmed skirts. The moonlight shone on their alabaster skin, reflected in their diamond earrings, and caught the twinkle of their beautiful eyes. Beaded chapeau trimmed with plumes and stately ribbons framed their delicate faces. These women were considered the epitome of the turn of the century   gentlewomen.

Now, these exquisite beauties return from the 1800’s, embodied in  hand-crafted, masterfully painted, limited-edition collectable dolls.  Fashion designer and artist Julianna Blunt has meticulously clothed these dolls in a perfect period costume.  The "Doll Father," Lewis Goldstein, crafted these dolls to be the prized possession of any doll collector. Standing on a wooden pedestal, which plays the "Skater’s Waltz," these dolls recall the romantic winter evening of the era. Let their   tapered fingers beckon you to a gentle world of starlight and magic.
